RAJA ( ରଜ ) celebration with new style

Raja ( ରଜ ) , It is very interesting traditional festival of odisha state. It is celebrating with the belief of mother earth  menstruates for three days celebration from the date of 14 june as Pahili Raja (ପହିଲି ରଜ), date of 15 june is Mithuna Sankrati ( ମିଥୁନ ସକ୍ରାଂନ୍ତି ) and 16 june is Basi Raja (ବାସି ରଜ) or Bhu Dana (ଭୁ ଦାନ ). In these three days all are celebrating Raja with full of joy and amazement. For these three days, there are no any agricultural activities like ploughing or sowing takes place as mother earth is expected to be going through rejuvenation.

Also they have a bath with turmeric before raja as traditional type for preparation of Pahili Raja.

Another new special things in Raja festival is "Doli", it is only the season that when all are allowed to play with doli and there are various types of dolies like chakra doli, baunsa doli, jhula doli, agi doli, and girls are plays doilies with the raja special song. There is another interesting things seems in raja i,e Raja pan (bittle), which is specially makes for celebrating raja with verities of pan masalas. All the boys and girls are enjoy its test of this raja pan. Also plays Ludo game, Cadr game, Chess game and also other indoor games are enjoy with it. These three days there is no ban or barring for amazement. In every house there are ready of good and lovely foods, friends and relatives are mostly comes to every houses. There are a friendly atmosphere in the surrounding .

And after three days, in fourth day is "Basumati Snana", In this morning there makes pooja for earth. After the Basumati Snana then all the agricultural activities are done like previously.

Balipatana, 15.07.2018 :-               It is really shocking and sad news for all of balipatana person that a savior unexpected death has been occur in the date of 13 July 2018 in the early morning at 8.00 pm in the house of Rabi Behera and the death is happen with his younger son "Bidyadhara Behera (Agandu,Pinku)", who was study in Kendrapara autonomous college in 2nd year science. Another two brother Sudhakar Behera (Gandua), Ratnakar Behera (Naga), is live in Qatar. And the death is happened by suicide in his own house when he was coming for the college vacation to the house.
