OM MANTRA AND ITS POWER
The most powerful mantra in the world that which is existence is before the earth in the world. Let's know its power, as according by yogis It is improves our concentration. gives peace and steadiness to our mind, reduces mental stress and clear all worldly thoughts. Although those who practice it regularly would have experienced it first hand and affirm the same, scientists were curious to find out more about it and verify such claims with the help of science & technology.
When we pronounced correctly, the Sanskrit word Om it is actually AUM and actually consist of four syllables.
A - The stretched out a sound begins at the back of your throat and as it is stretched out, You will begin to sense your chest and solar plexus vibrating.
U - The stretched out 'oo' sound will gradually resonate along your upper palate, creating vibrations in your throat.
M - The prolonged 'mmmm' sound.
The last syllable is created via the transition from the 'm' to the deep silence of the infinite.
The first three states syllables equate to the conscious and unconscious states of the mind. Encompassing the divine energy (shakti), these three letters symbolize the basis of it
1.creation
2.preservation and
3.liberation
According to Yoga, samkya and other scriptures, the letter of OM correspond to three gunas (principals of nature)
A - tamas, signifying darkness inertia and ignorance (waking state)
U - rajas, signify passion, activity and dynamism (dream state)
M - sattava, signifying purity, truth and light (state of deep sleep)
As known by a survey by scientist and the participants who had never chanted Om mantra were asked to chant it for few minutes and each of their chant were recorded.They were asked to chant the mantra on regular basis and after few days, the experiment was repeated. The time frequency analysis this time had some starting revelations. The wave forms were improved with regular spacing, had almost perfect symmetry and harmony. Not only had these participants witnessed dramatic improvement in focus, concentration & steadiness, but found themselves to be in peace, witnessed reduction in mental stress & could remain clam all the time.
